Blemish might just be the coolest band I've heard in a long time. I can't think of a song on here that gets old. They do dual guitar better than most bands that do it, and just manage to kick absolute ass with every track on this album. The three tracks which appeared on the original Demofest release are unbelievably catchy, each with a seriously killer chorus. The rhythm section also kills it on here, combining with the guitars and attitude-filled vocals to present this effortlessly cool group.

Given the gravity of the situation, it seems almost inappropriate to discuss the music contained within. Even if I hated the bands on this collection, I’d encourage you to purchase it. However, that’s not the case – not only is this an important cause, the music here is top notch. Bands from all over the DIY punk spectrum have donated tracks to this comp, from the well-known to the relatively obscure.
